As Hummel, Lewis & Smith looks to the future, we are very mindful of history and preserving two important historical properties as our offices.
“Thank you so much for all the time, preparation, and hard work you put into my case. I deeply appreciate the high degree of organization you displayed and the high level of understanding and familiarity of the case you clearly had. It means a lot to me that you took my case seriously right from the beginning and worked closely with me to be as prepared as possible.
Thank you for your exemplary professionalism.” – N.I.
“You met my emotional need every step of the way and stayed professional while doing it. It’s probably the best test of a man’s character I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been more personally satisfied with the choice of working with someone, ever. My wife and I need you to know that, beyond the financial obligations, we owe you so much more, and hopefully someday we can pay it forward to someone else.” – Z.J.
“There are no words to express our thanks. We appreciate all your help in the biggest trouble we ever had. It’s people like you who care enough to make a difference in a person’s life. You changed our son’s life and we will never forget that. We will keep you in our daily prayers.” – E.B.
Our Bloomsburg office is known as the Van Tassel House and was constructed circa 1880. We have preserved many of the original features of this Queen Anne Style home. This structure is a contributing property to the Bloomsburg Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
We are very proud to be the stewards of the Beck House, our Sunbury office. This stone home was originally constructed in 1772 and is one of the oldest homes in Sunbury. In 1976, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
