Attorney Mihalik has litigated cases in the Pennsylvania Courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, having appeared in 28 of Pennsylvania's 67 counties over a 35 year period. He has argued cases before the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals and has filed and defended Petitions for Writs of Certiorari before the United States Supreme Court. Jack has also appeared numerous times before Pennsylvania's Appellate Courts. He has settled or tried a full range of civil cases including automobile accident cases, slip and fall cases, products liability cases, medical negligence cases, and a variety of commercial and personal litigation cases. Mr. Mihalik represents several municipalities, and through this practice, has extensive experience with land use issues and land use litigation.
As a trial lawyer, Jack works aggressively in court on behalf of his clients, while keeping in mind that amicable solutions at times are in the best interests of his clients. Because he has an engineering degree and is a lawyer, he brings a problem solving approach to litigation rather than a problem causing approach.
